The vision for Salem has always focused on family, community and spiritual growth. There has never been a more crucial time in church history than now to support the traditional family. The uniqueness of a small rural church offers a loving, inviting and a caring environment for families at all stages in life. The Word is clear children are blessings from God (Psalm 127: 3-5) and should be brought up in a Godly home (Ephesians 6:4 and 1 Timothy 3:5). In our surrounding community, Salem represents endurance in the Faith. As a congregation we strive to help meet needs of those struggling physically, financially and spiritually as God directs ( 1 Timothy 6:18 and James 2: 14-17). As in the parable of the sower in Luke chapter 8, the church provides a strong foundation for spiritual growth through the Word and sacraments leading believers to a sanctified life.
